Roger Harrell has over 12 years of system automation experience and 8 years of experience in developing commercial web based software. Roger has been programming since the age of 6 and built his first computer (PC Clone) at the age of 9. After receiving a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Davis he spent the beginnings of his career designing and programming control systems at Bechtel corporation for major refineries and chemical plants. Shortly thereafter shifted to developing automation tools and back-end systems for a wide variety of internet startups.
Roger has a broad range of experience ranging from 2 person internet operations to developing toolsets for multi-billion dollar projects. The necessities of managing speed critical applications with multi-million record-set databases has given Roger a keen eye towards optimization and efficiency. A problem solver and trouble shooter by nature he is able to find innovative solutions to difficult problems.
In his free time Roger is a trainer and gymnastics coach. He also assists in developing fitness curriculums for a variety of law enforcement, fire departments, tactical operations and special operations teams. He continues to be involved with various musical groups, being a multi-instrument musician and vocalist. Amongst all this he finds time to spend with his wife and best friend Pamela and their socialite little one, Caitlyn.
