Jim Mack Nair
Art Director

Jim's passion for art started at an early age as he decorated the walls of his parent's house with works of fine art done in crayon. A continual artist, Jim made a career decision to get into teaching because, as his father advised, "What are ya gonna do with an art degree, sell black velvet paintings on the street corner?" Jim earned his Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and went on to hold positions as a freelance artist, art instructor, Graphic Design & Multimedia Dept. Chair, and eventually Dean of a design college.

Lacking the artistic outlet he was looking for in a career, Jim decided to leave collegiate administration and return to working in the graphic design field as the Art Director and creator of black velvet paintings for iMagicLab.

When you can pry Jim away from the computer, he still keeps his creative juices flowing as a multi-instrumentalist songwriter. He seldom finds time to compose these days as he loves spending his free time with his beloved wife and best friend and their 2 young sons "Mr. Gabby" and "Bamm-Bamm".
